Today, my little niece Mary Claire celebrates her 5th birthday!! Rivaling many of the cutest blond girls out there, Mary Claire takes the crown... and quite literally, too. Mary Claire's mommy and my sister-in-law, Jen (also an avid blogger), tells numerous stories of Mary Claire pretending that she's a princess. Quite cute.
Anyway, Mary Claire is very special to me (as are all my nieces and nephews!) for a few reasons and here's why:
1) Up until recently, we shared the same initials - MCW!
2) We are both April birthdays
2) Every time I see her, she STILL asks me to sing "Miss Mary Claire" (a song sung with special words especially for MC in the tune of "Miss Mary Mack") for her.
3) She has rosy cheeks just like me!
