Our boy is just shy of his 4 month birthday. Someone please explain to me why time has passed this fast already?! He is growing like a weed (I know I say that every week) and does something new almost every day now. I will have more information regarding his vitals when we visit the doctor for his 4 month check-up next week. I can't wait to see how much he's grown!
We are thoroughly enjoying our time at home together. Sometimes I don't get all the laundry done, or put all the dishes away, but I'm ok with that, because that means I'm spending that time playing and loving on my baby. Maybe he won't remember these days we have together, but hopefully when he gets older, he will. These will be his first memories and I'm determined to make them good ones that he'll remember forever.
This week, Camden experienced his first hurricane. He did great through it too! I had to shoot a wedding ceremony in the morning, but when I came home, Bobby and Cam were all ready for the storm in the basement. We all cuddled down there for the day (and night). We lost power around 7:30pm that night, and I think Camden was wondering why we weren't turning on the lights so he could see! Instead, we read night time books and nursed by candle light under a big, fluffy blanket. It was perfect --and thankfully no damage to our house!
Killian was enjoying the new tree, but realized he had to get back down.
Thankfully, our only "damage." This has now become the neighborhood hang out. Kids have been coming at 8am with their bathing suits on to play in the mud! It's hilarious. I can hear them talking from my bedroom, so it fills my heart with joy to be apart of their pretend world and "the best clubhouse EVER!" Their words, not mine.
Here are just some shots from the week. I'm experimenting with my camera remote so that I can get SOME pictures of the two of us together while Bobby is at work.
Enjoy!
Help me, Rhonda. He makes the silliest faces. He's started to blow bubbles or "raspberries" which results in an incredible amount of drool. It's kind of gross, but cute at the same time. Please make note of my baby's hair. It sticks straight up and is shaped like a mowhawk on top.
He looks at EVERYTHING. Not sure what he's looking at here...probably his ridiculously adorable cloth diaper!
My favorite times of the day.
Best thing in the whole world.
Little nose and lips. Love.
Camden's thighs are filling out...finally! Bobby calls them his little Ham Hocks! I laugh every time. So does Cam. They are delightfully pudgy.
That face. I love his gummy smile and round, little face!
